TUTORIAL: DISCOVER HOW TO MAKE HERRINGBONE BRAIDS!

Step by step! Directly from the backstage of the TONI&GUY Adornment Spring Shoot directed by Artistic Director Sophie Springett, let’s learn together how to make herringbone braids!

STEP 1:

Moisten your hair with label.m Sea Salt Spray, spraying it about 10 cm away on the roots!

STEP 2:

Use your fingers to move the hair away from your face and stop it with the label.m Metal Sectioning Clips, positioning it to create a striped texture on the hairline.

Leave a few small strands of hair free on the forehead.

STEP 3:

Re-apply label.m Sea Salt Spray and set your hair using label.m Tourmaline Dryer with the diffuser attachment.

STEP 4:

Apply label.m Soft Wax through the ends of the hair and then always use label.m Sectioning to temporarily fix the hair to the nape of the neck.

STEP 5:

Divide your hair into four sections ensuring that the two central parts are twice as thick as the outer ones.

STEP 6:

Take a small part of the right section and braid it underneath, then continue passing over and under the other three sections until it joins the left part. Repeat this same procedure with a small section of the left side of the hair.

STEP 7:

Continue and repeat, then fix the braid with the TONI&GUY Hard As Nails hair accessory, leaving at least two inches of hair free at the end of the hair accessory itself.
